what we have done
TRAINING
A 3 -day corporate training program for a leading automobile manufacturer in India at their R&D headquarters.

The 3-day course covers basics of strain life theory, application of this theory in nCode, and fundamentals of signal processing along with practical case studies.

12 Engineers with varying experience attended the program.
Axle Failure Study using Range-Mean-Damage
A failure analysis for an axle manufacturer to identify the most damaging event.

Project involved collecting duty cycle event data, extrapolating it to manufacturer's expected life, and analyzing each event to determine the damage induced using range-mean-damage diagram.
Process development for data noise reduction
A process development project to clean up the noisy strain gage data obtained from the products to facilitate quick and reliable experimental data analysis.
Custom app for accelerating vibration test spec
SIMAT's accelerated vibration test specification development research implemented in QT and Python. It is a custom application deployed for an automobile manufacturer.

The application will convert a representative duty cycle to a time-compressed vibration test specification using equivalent damage theories and custom developed optimization methods. The order of time-compression could be from 8000 to 1000hrs or less.

This app is further developed for generic application and made available for other clients.
